Wallabies fall to All Blacks in sold-out Bledisloe Cup clash - James Slipper’s final match
The Wallabies fell 28-14 to the All Blacks in front of a sold-out crowd of 60,113 at Optus Stadium, in the final round of the Flight Centre Rugby Championship - with both teams still in contention for the title.
Hospitality was a sell-out, with premium sit-down functions booked out weeks in advance. The Riverview Room hosted large groups for a three-course dinner with stunning river and city views, while the Captains Club offered sweeping field views as guests soaked up the pre-match build-up. Special guests included Matt Burke, Andrew Mehrtens and non-playing Wallabies Tom Lynagh and Nick Champion de Crespigny.
Cocktail guests enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere with canapés, free-flowing drinks and live music before kick-off. In The Locker Room, attendees experienced the ultimate access - coming face-to-face with both teams as they made their way through the function room to the field for kick-off, and again at half-time.
A truly unforgettable night of rugby and hospitality.
